Acceptable Use Policy

Effective April 2026

You agree not to use Ocupado to:

• Violate any law, including fair-housing, anti-discrimination, landlord-tenant, consumer-protection, or data-protection laws.
• Upload unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringing content.
• Submit payments on behalf of another person without authorization, or conduct money-laundering, fraud, or chargeback abuse.
• Access or attempt to access data, units, or accounts you do not own or have permission to manage.
• Circumvent security, rate limits, or audit logging; reverse-engineer the service; or use the service to send spam.
• Misuse AI features — AI outputs are not legal advice and must not be presented to others as advice from a licensed professional.
• Use smart-lock integrations to lock a tenant out of a lawfully-occupied unit. Self-help evictions are illegal and are a cause for immediate termination.

We may suspend or terminate accounts violating this policy without notice.
